I teach at Boston University on a range of topics in Jewish, European, Russian, and legal history. In 2017-18 I was a Luce/ACLS Fellow in Religion, Journalism and International Affairs and I am currently a visiting scholar at the Northeastern University Humanities Center, where I’m writing a book about Jews and the idea of religious freedom.
